Job Description: Arthur Bell, CPAs is seeking a tax attorney with 1-5 years of professional experience following law school. The successful candidate will serve the firm’s employees and the firm’s clients in resolving complex tax compliance matters as will as providing transactional tax planning assistance. Tax controversy matters also arise from time to time. The successful candidate will devote a certain amount of time to internal and external tax education, such as the presentation of tax CPE courses. The position o! ffers broad exposure to many areas of taxation with the possib! ility of focusing attention to one of the firm’s three tax groupsâ€"managed funds, investment management companies, and high net-worth individuals along with their estate planning and charitable endeavors. Preparation of tax returns will not be a component of the job function.

Skills Required: Excellent research skills; ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely; ability to orally communicate complex tax matters in a clear manner to firm employees, firm clients, and governmental taxing authorities. Public speaking experience is a plus.

Background & Education: JD required along with at least 1 year of post-degree tax research, planning, or compliance experience in a professional setting. Minimum GPA 3.0. LLM, Taxation preferred.
